Zone Trigger
The Videobeam
camera system detects body movement. It senses any
number of interactive "Zone Trigger" areas and translates
them into
dynamic control signals that will orchestrate coloured lighting, water
features and sound effects - continuously!
Introduction
Capture the action with the Videobeam Zone Trigger system. Move your
fingers 25mm or body 2.5m and Videobeam will interpret your actions
into
coloured lights, dancing fountains or sound effects.
Ideal for
wheelchair and walking subjects, just zoom the camera lens into
the activity area, add zone trigger "hot spots" and watch
the reaction.
Zone Trigger
captures the action over each zone circle "hot spot" on the
screen and outputs a dynamic signal to control from 1 to 24 sets of
output
devices - eg: coloured lighting, fountains, sound fx storage machines
and
much more.
If the
action stops, the signals will gently reduce in size and switch off
the
lighting, water or sound feature or trigger an automated sequence until
interactivity resumes. Changing ambient light levels are automatically
compensated by the inbuilt camera circuitry and computer software.
Videobeam
Zone Trigger is a fully automatic plug and play system which
may be customised to suit various needs with hardware and software
options.

Technical
Indoors or outside within sensory gardens etc, the Videobeam®
system
simply requires an external video camera or portable camcorder c/w
composite video / S-video or webcam output connected to a compatible
laptop computer of choice, with two free USB1/2 ports.
We
will supply the USB video input and DMX output interfaces; software,
hardware and technical advice for a trouble-free start.
The "Zone Trigger" software is added with a simple user-friendly
control
screen. See the "live" video picture on the same screen and
add the "hot
spots" as required. Size, shape and position are easily accomplished.
The
whole set-up can be saved for re-use.
