Our
custom sensors together with easy to operate hand controllers
produce an air of magic and fun to a special garden, themed park or
play area together with the senses of touch, smell, shape and colour
of the natural surroundings.
Working
with landscape architects, garden designers, teachers and carers,
we can provide sensory garden systems featuring interactive elements
combined with lighting, audio and water equipment, all with the important
ingredient of accessibility for Special Needs projects.

Bishopswood Special
School. Design concept - J Herrington @ The Green Room
At
Bishopswood Special School, Sonning Common, a dynamic sensory garden
has been designed next to the school playground. Our Virowave seismic
sensors are burried under coloured softfall stepping stones surrounded
by
synthetic grass.
Children's
feet trigger the sensors to produce natural and funny sound
effects which emanate from in-ground speakers, hidden within the planted
areas.

quadrangle for Aspley Wood School, Nottingham.
In addition to the two bridges activating water sounds, four soft-touch
stations provide five sets
of themed sound effects for inclusion into class activities.
For
new activities and future changes in the curriculum, all sounds may
be simply updated
by replacing the internal soundstore MMC cards with new MP3 recordings
from Magic
Fountains. (Technical briefing to teachers will be provided on request)
