Interactive
fountain systems come in all shapes and sizes from the
surprise of a single jet of water rising from the ground to sensor driven
water gates barring entrances into a maze or cave. We have designed
more sophisticated measured control of fountains by human gestures
such as voice and body movements captured with seismic, ultrasonic,
infra-red and the latest video camera techniques.
At Magic
Fountains we have a large range of tough interactive systems for
the great outdoors:
The AURORA
"soft touch" proximity switch sensor turns almost any object
into
a sensing area; from a natural plant to a plastic mushroom - a woodland
seat
to an interactive wooden bridge. AURORA will sense through virtually
any solid
material. Touch or move your hand close to the sensor area, and AURORA
will
switch on fountain jets, lighting, sound effects and much more.
Our VIROWAVE sensors can detect human movements either above or below
ground. They trigger fountains and water flow by human footsteps or
voice activated within our colourful TALKITUBE acoustic microphones.
Alternatively the VIROBEAM sensor acts as a rangefinder to detect the
distance from a human body, which in turn controls the height of a fountain
by remote control. This technique is especially useful for wheelchair
users.

of
your hand with PLAYBEAM; our no-touch, single or multi channel interactive
keyboard. PLAYBEAM brings you measured control of fountain jet sets,
providing a unique leisure experience for young and old alike, in particular

Capture
the action with VIDEOBEAM. Walk, wave, run, jump, or just dance to
the music and the cascading water will react to your every move. VIDEOBEAM
is a unique concept - Developed over many years by our sister company,
Environetics.
Both of our VIDEOBEAM camera systems translate body movements and
converts these moving images into dynamic control signals that will
orchestrate water features, bubbles, wind and mist machines. Videobeam
will
magnify and allow full control to users with a very small amount of
movement.
When installed and set-up the VIDEOBEAM systems are fully automatic.
VIDEOBEAM
Colourscope is a compact single screen version of the larger
multi-screen system with up to 18 "activity" areas.
To compliment the active water and lighting systems we can add our
automated BiCYCLE™ cycle timer units for a continuous or static
display
when no interactivity occurs.
